At
English Plus we are aware of the responsibility that the Legal
Language carries– more than any other kind of language.
A small difference in wording can make a big difference in people’s
lives.
The
main objective of the course is to build participants' legal
vocabulary, classroom discussion skills, and presentation capabilities.
Our English for Law course covers many different types of law,
for example, commercial law, family law, criminal law, intellectual
property law, media law, to name but a few.
It
mainly focuses on developing these skills:
To
use legal terminology with ease and accuracy, both orally and
in writing.
To participe with confidence and fluency in class discussions.
To listen effectively to speakers and audio-visual presentations.
To comprehend and summarise texts related to legal matters.
To express ideas clearly and concisely in writing.
To write formal letters and memoranda and use legal dictionaries
efficiently.
Please note that to apply for this course you need to have at
least an intermediate level of English.
